This article seems to cover two different topics: the Dictaphone company and dictation machines. I suggest we use this article for the company and describe voice recording in either Dictation (currently a redirect, but that could change) or Dictation machine. The current article could have a link at the top (for the voice recording machines, see...). Some of the content of Digital dictation could be merged into the the new article. The majority of the article seems to be about the device rather than the company. If people think splitting the article is appropriate, I suppose doing a "move article" to Dictation machine would be okay, if someone then wished to start an article on the Dictaphone company, and then make Dictaphone into a disambiguation page. -- Infrogmation 14:48, 4 August 2005 (UTC)

I've broken the article into two as suggested. I've also started an article about the DictaBelt, which was mentioned in the Dictaphone article and which redirected to it. ProhibitOnions ^(T) 17:16, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

What about this band called 'Dictaphone'?It performs electronic, ambient and yass music.I know that it may be liitle-known in the world of Britney Spears etc. but I'd suggest to make a disambiguation page. (Sorry for my potential errors but English is not my first language)
