Dick Clay (born Richard Harold Clay on March 6, 1945 in Ferntree Gully, Victoria) is a former Australian rules footballer who played in the VFL between 1966 and 1976 for the Richmond Football Club.
Recruited from Kyabram, Victoria, Clay played as a full-forward, centre half-forward, wing (he and Francis Bourke were the first senior VFL players over 6 foot (183 cm) to play on the wing), and later as a defender. His VFL career spanned 11 seasons, for a total of 213 games and 80 goals. As well as playing State of Origin for Victoria, he played in 4 premiership sides - 1967, 1969, 1973 and 1974.
Today, Clay works at Bunnings Warehouse, and in 2005 appeared in a commercial for the company.
