Dibella's Old Fashioned Submarines shop is a restaurant chain based in Rochester, NY.
DiBella's was founded in 1918. It first began as a family owned and operated grocery store, and later operated as an Italian-style deli. Today the company operates as a restaurant serving many varieties of hot and cold submarine sandwiches. They currently operate 15 stores in New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
DiBella's has now added a whole new hot sub menu. They offer a philly cheese steak in addition to many other grilled sandwiches. They use a homemade recipe for their chocolate chip cookies, based on Grandma DiBella's original.
The restaurants are based on a 1930's/40's theme. From the decor, to the lighting and the music, it gives the feeling of a true old country deli.
