Diarmuid Angland is a student from University College Cork. He is from Kanturk in North Cork Ireland. He is studying Government and Public Policy in the College of Business and Law. He enrolled in UCC in 2003. In 2004/2005 he was the Vice-Auditor of the UCC LGBT Society. In 2005/2006 he was the Auditor of the UCC LGBT Society, Class Representative to the Class Representative Council the Parliament of UCC's Student Union, as well as a member of the Welfare Working Group of the Student Union.
In 2006 he was elected on to the UCC Societies Guild Executive, where he was appointed Vice-President and Secretary.
