Dial M for Monkey is a back-up segment featured in early seasons of the Cartoon Network animated series Dexter's Laboratory. It was created by Genndy Tartakovsky.

[edit] Premise
The Dial M for Monkey episodes would feature Dexter's monkey, who (unknown to Dexter) has superpowers and fights evil with his partners. Monkey revealed his secret to Dexter in the episode Last But Not Beast, only to have his memory erased afterwards.
These six-minute episodes were shown in the middle of two Dexter shorts during the first half of the show's first season and once in the show's second season.

- The title of this mini-series is either based on Dial M for Murder, Dial H for Hero or both.
- In 2003, a British band called Bonobo released the album entitled Dial 'M' For Monkey.
- The Dutch band Placemat also has a song named Dial 'M' For Monkey.
- Remixes of the theme song is used in the All Games Interactive podcast as a transition to their "Gaming News" segment.
- Part of the Simian segment was used as the opening to "U Don't Know Me" by Armand Van Helden:
