The Diademed Sandpiper-plover (Phegornis mitchellii) is a species of bird in the Charadriidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Phegornis. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland and swamps.
