The Diablo Valley refers to a valley in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area, comprising the cities in the valley to the west/northwest of Mt. Diablo. The valley contains the cities of Clayton, Concord, Martinez, the unincorporated area of Pacheco, Pleasant Hill, which is home of Diablo Valley College, and most of Walnut Creek, however the southern end of Walnut Creek is a part of the San Ramon Valley. The Diablo Valley is very diverse, ethnically, and socioeconomically, and is full of businesses of all types, office buildings, shopping malls, car dealerships, and much more.
