Dhak Dhak In Dubai is a Hindi Television dramedy that airs on 9X channel starting from November 15, 2007, based on the concept of chaos, confusion, and lots of anecdotal humour.
The story depicts the dilemma of a Gujarati girl Sheetal Patel, who aspires to be Punjabi to marry a Punjabi boy, and Vir Singh, who wants to marry a Gujarati girl. The story takes off when Sheetal meets Vir and he tries to woo her pretending to be a Gujarati! Vir leaves his home in Punjab where his dad owns a farm. He lies that he is from a very rich family living outside India. Whereas Sheetal's dad is totally against her marrying a non-gujarati guy...
