[edit] Summary

Description

A left side view of two T-33 Shooting Star aircraft in flight. The further aircraft has been repainted and renumbered in anticipation of its delivery to the Mexican air force, to which it has been sold. The closer T-33 still belongs to the 95th Fighter Interceptor Training Squadron at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, the last active T-33 squadron in the Air Force. At the end of Fiscal Year 1988, the T-33 will be phased out, ending nearly 40 years of service for the aircraft.
