Deweer Art Gallery was founded in 1979 by Mark and Marleen Deweer – Deprez in Otegem, a small village in southern West-Flanders in Belgium. The gallery presents or has presented both upcoming and established artists such as Stephan Balkenhol, Günter Brus, Berlinde de Bruyckere, Tony Cragg, Stefaan Dheedene, Jan Fabre, Ilya Kabakov, Matthieu Laurette, Panamarenko, Johan Tahon, Koen Vanmechelen and Andy Wauman.

At the occasion of its 25th anniversary the gallery has commissioned a large sculpture from young Belgian artist Jan de Cock and a website from Anouk De Clercq.
