[edit] License tagging for Image:Tekken5DR.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Tekken5DR.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

- Thanks for your contribution! Images turn wikipedia from a great encyclopedia to a spectacular encyclopedia. Please try to add the correct image tags to the images you upload - there's a link above for a list. For covers of video games, the tag is gamecover. (with {{}} around it) Thanks, and happy editing! [edit] Steve Irwin
Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you added new information to Steve Irwin — we thank you for doing so, but in order to satisfy our verifiability policy policy, we need to know from which sources you got that information. Just adding a link to the article next to your addition would be all right, or you could put it in the article's discussion page. If you need any help, feel free to ask me at my talk page. Thanks! -- Longhair 09:45, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Flags on Carlton Football Club page
Hi, I noticed you put the flags back on the Carlton Football Club page. Whilst this is something that I agree with, you might want to read Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_AFL/Archive_2#Aboriginal_flag.2FState_flags_on_club_pages. The general consesus seems to be that they are not appropriate. --Rulesfan 07:08, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Devil Jin article
Thank you for editing the Devil Jin article, but the article was merged with Jin Kazama after a consensus based on the standards for notability. I have remerged the articles and would ask you to discuss separation on the talk page before you take it upon yourself to do so. This goes for all merged articles, like Ogre/True Ogre and Alex/Roger. Thank you again. King Zeal (talk) 07:56, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:DGIBBSAAWHWHHWWW.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:DGIBBSAAWHWHHWWW.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:21, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
