I'm a little concerned that this term is unique to the work of Kesey. Some brief Googling doesn't turn up any references that don't mention Kesey. Anyone know another name for this phenomenon? ^L_Wizard @ 22:01, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

I second the concern about possibly missing the correct term, but will also point out that the first external link (the second Google hit) uses the term without any mention of Ken. A bit more googling turns up http://outdoors.webshots.com/photo/2757031870061291540oFjQuo The term could also be tied up with Kesey if the phenomenon were rare enough that Kesey is the readiest available reference when describing it.
