Devils Garden is a natural scenic area along the Hole-In-The-Wall Road. Hoodoos form in the Jurassic-age Carmel Formation in the Devils Garden along the Hole-In-The-Wall Road in Escalante Canyons portion of the park. In the distance are the Straight Cliffs consisting of interbedded massive sandstone and shale beds of Cretaceous-age.
