According to Hindi grammar , the name "Devesh" is composed(sandhi) of two words "Dev" and "Esh".
Dev + Esh = Devesh[1] Dev (देव in Devanagari script, pronounced [ˈd̪eʋə]) ) is theSanskrit word for "God, deity". Esh (ईश in Devanagari script)is also a Sanskrit word for king,Head, Leader who worshiped as Eshwar(God).

The popularly ascribed, but actually inaccurate meaning of the name Devesh is "God's god" means Shiva[2].[3]
This is contrary to the popular belief that Devesh means Indra
