Devecser is a town in Veszprém county, Hungary.
In the middle ages there were 5 villages in the area of today Devecser: Devecser, Kisdevecser, Szék, Meggyes and Patony. These villages have grown up in the XIIth and XIIIth century. There is an Esterházy castle in the town.
Devecser is now famous of being a flea market town. Its inhabitants are selling various goods in their yards obtained in junk-clearances in Austria, Germany and The Netherlands.
