It's odd that German points from here to another disambiguation page, altho German itself has many meanings it's a bit cumbersome this way. THoughts? --Sketchee 23:30, Dec 17, 2004 (UTC)

Shouldn't it be mentioned that one can derive Deutsch from shifting an Old English form of Theod ala the second consonant shift?

not on the disambiguation page. disambiguation pages should help people in finding the article they were looking for fast. not to learn more. see Wikipedia:Manual of Style (disambiguation pages).
