[edit] Summary

Description

The rear side of a palace in Dětenice, Czech Republic. The original gothic fortress was rebuilt to a Renaissance chateau in 1587 and further developed in the following centuries. After a period of devastation during the Communist era, it was privatized, thoroughly rebuilt and opened for tourists in the 1990s. The flower-bed in the front reminds of Knights of Malta, who owned the palace in 1873 - 1903. [1]
