[edit] Mandy Moore
Under Wikipedia:External links, it says : "On articles about topics with many fansites, including a link to one major fansite is appropriate, marking the link as such." The site that was linked to allowed us to use the header picture from their web site, "in exchange" for a link to their site. Since it doesn't violate any Wiki policy, I don't see the problem with having the one link there. Mad Jack 21:15, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, part of the pleasure of working on celebrity pages is deleting nonsense, including something like 10 fansites that you sometimes find linked to. :) Mad Jack 21:26, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Portugese
Just wanted to let you know "Portugese" is spelled "Portuguese". I'm not complaining about your edits, oh no! Just giving a fellow wikipedian a tip =D --mboverload@ 01:26, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AmandaPlease
Just explaining something: http://www.amandaplease.com is not a fansite. It is a promotional website for The Amanda Show, "created by" Penelope Taynt, a fictional character. The site was created and maintained by Nickelodeon. It is perfectly appropriate for The Amanda Show article; however, I agree that it shouldn't be on the Amanda Bynes article, as the site is about the show, not the person.
