fair use rationale text: This image, INA_Memorial_1945.jpg, is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright I (ranam) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because it depicts visually, and for want of freely available images, the fact that the memorial to the unknown soldier of the INA built by the Govt of Azad Hind at Singapore was destroyed by British Forces upon reoccupation of the city in 1945. Also, the image does not come from a commercial source and, given the archival character of the work, age and the historical context, it is not a cause of loss of revenue. It is suspected that the Image may have expired copyright status due to age.
