Destroy All Humans! is a video game franchise made by Pandemic Studios,Locomotive Games, and Sandblast Games. The first two games are available for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox systems, the third in the series is out for the Wii and later for the PlayStation Portable on september 15th, and lastly the forth game will be out for the PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on September 15 2008.

The games take place on Earth where Furon Cryptosporidium, also known as Crypto, gathers Furon DNA lock inside human's brain to save his race from dieing out. And to destroy humans, his enemies, and pretty much anyone who stands in his way In every game, the setting always takes place 10 years after the previous game. In the first game, it takes place in 1959. In the second game, it takes place in 1969. This one takes place in 1972, and the third one takes place in 1979

Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon

The first Destroy All Humans! is the only game in the series to have more than five locations, while Big Willy Unleashed is the only game in the series to have four locations.

  • Cryptosporidium - Cryptosporidium, known as Crypto for short, is the main character in the series. A member of an alien species known as Furons he is an anti-hero who enjoys wreaking havoc and destroying all humans. Crypto's boss is Orthopox 13, who usually gives Crypto missions. Sometimes Crypto talks with a variety of wise-cracking remarks. He once notes that he is aiding a lot of humans, and says "I thought the game was called Destroy All Humans".
  • Orthopox - Orthopox, known as Pox by for short, is Crypto's boss who gives him his assignments. Pox is an intelligent Furon scientist who likes to experiment on Furon DNA. His achievements: Conqueror of Zarkon-5, Hero of the Battle of Tharsis Mons, Winner of the Xanthrax-47 Mental Cruelty Award 6 years running. In the second game, Pox dies when the KGB shoot a missile at the mothership. Pox is made a hologram on the Holopox unit, a Furon hologram projector.

In 1959, Cryptosporidium 137 first arrived to Earth to investigate the planet and search for his predecessor clone, Cryptosporidium-136 who disappeared in 1947 after Orthopox 13 sends him to Earth on a similar mission. Pox sends Crypto on a mission to harvest human brain stems (which contain Furon DNA, due to an encounter between Furon sailors and humans in ancient times) to prevent his species from going extinct. To accomplish his mission, he must defeat the Majestic, a shadowy government organization led by a black-clad figure named Silhouette. After accomplishing this, Crypto takes over the United States by posing as the President.

10 years have gone by since Crypto defeated Majestic and took over the United States.Othropox 13 has died of an incident on the Mother Ship blowing up, with Gastro. Crypto 137, a clone with pure Furon DNA harvested from human brains. Crypto 137 is the first Furon in millennia to possess genitalia, as his pure DNA has not been corrupted by radiation. When the KGB destroy the mothership and Pox, Crypto must find a way to stop the KGB from destroying America. Also, he must stop the KGB leader Milenkov and his soldiers from taking over the planet, with the help of the Blisk and their alien technology.

Big Willy Unleashed takes place after Destroy All Humans! 2 and before Path of the Furon. Crypto and Pox start a fast food restaurant to harvest more Furon DNA. Later, their rival restaurant, Colonel Kluckin', find out their secret and Crypto must protect the restaurant with the Big Willy mascot mech.

Takes place after Big Willy Unleashed, Crypto faces up against new alien enemies that are a major threat to the entire planet of Gorta and seems to get help from a wise old Furon in order to save his home planet.


Destroy All Humans! Crypto Does Vegas is a recently announced Mobile phone version of Path of the Furon. In the game, Crypto must zap tourists and gamblers to find the best DNA possible in Sin City. The release date is unknown but it is already released. The plot is that DNA is disappering from Pox's delivery to the homeworld. In the last 2 missions you discover that the thieves are a clone army of "free" Crypto's
