Desperadas ("The Desperate") is a Philippine film which is an official entry to the 33rd Metro Manila Film Festival and it was showing on January 1, 2008.

The story is about four beautiful half-sisters - Isabela, Courtney, Stephanie and Patricia - who have problems in their personal life. Isabela has issues with commitment, Stephanie is having problems with her husband Richard, Courtney's boyfriend Patrick becomes a Born again Christian and Patricia publishes her new sex book much to the dismay of her husband who's having trouble with their relationship as a couple.

  • Isabela - The eldest of the Sisters, she is a single mom to Alexis. Isabela is courted by an underwear model, Vito. She is also rich and high living.
  • Stephanie - She is married to Richard (a doctor) and is having problems with giving birth to a baby. She is being courted by Isabela's lawyer.She studied in UP.
  • Patricia - A sexologist who writes books. She is a control freak and finds out a shocking thing about her husband. Patricia is always funny and keeps the sisters together.
  • Courtney - Engaged to basketball rookie Patrick. She is only understood by her dog, Chi-chi. Courtney loves wearing wigs and she is an underwear designer.
  • Vito - An underwear model who works for Courtney. He likes Isabela, but can't get her to commit.
  • Richard - A doctor and Stephanie's Husband.
  • Patrick - A basketball rookie and Courtney's husband.
  • Dave - Patricia's husband who turns gay because of so much pressure by Patricia.
  • James - Isabela's Lawyer who is courting Stephanie.He studied in Ateneo
  • Alexis - Isabela's Daughter.
  • Peter - Patricia and Dave's Son.

The movie opened at January 1,2008. It made Php 12 Million in opening day, and Php 50 Million overall.

Regal Matriarch, Mother Lily Monteverde said in her interview that there is a sequel on Desperadas.
