This short collection of work by Will Self was published as part of the Penguin Books 70th birthday celebration. The company printed 70 slimline editions with work by authours previously published by Penguin or one of it's imprints. Other authors included Vladimir Nabokov, PD James, Roald Dahl, George Orwell and JK Galbraith.[1]
The two stories in this collection were latter published in the collection Tough, Tough Toys for Tough, Tough Boys.
