Hindi lyrics
Aisa Desh Kabhi na dekha kabhi na suna hein..
deshon ka sartaj yeah he Bharath desh he...
Swaya na khaake sabko khilathi hein ma kahaan..
pyari behane prem rakhi baandathi kahan..
yudh kshetru mein jaa ke ladtha bahadure..
dur baiti dil mein gaathi bhamini kahaan.
Santon ke yeh bhoomi pyaari veeron ke hein khan..
desh laaj rakhake jin ne has ke di hein jaan..
garv ham ko hein, is mein paida jo hue..
marne ko is desh par thayyar jo hue..
Aisa Desh Kabhi na dekha kabhi na suna hein..
deshon ka sartaj yeah he Bharath desh he...
English Translation
Never have I seen, never I have heard (of any other nation other than)
India, the crown of the world.
For where will I see a mother who starves..
so that her kids have good food.
and where else would I see loving sisters..
tie Rakhi on your hands.
And when the brave men goto the battle fields..
where else can I find their loved ones singing in their hearts
This land has been the home land of saints, and the land of the brave..
of those who have given up their lives for protecting the lands.
And we are proud to be born in this very land,
and prouder to give up our lives for the nation.
