DESQ is an e-learning company based in Sheffield, England.

The company was founded in 1998 and creates digital learning applications, integrating new media to learning. DESQ blends entertainment and education, learning and play.

DESQ makes digital learning materials to support formal education in schools and colleges as well as informal learning experiences. DESQ develops for a range of audiences (from pre-school children to adults) across a range of subjects (from literacy, numeracy and science to vocational subjects).

DESQ works across a range of platforms: the Internet, CD-ROM, SCORM compliant Virtual Learning Environments, mobiles, interactive TV and paper.

DESQ may also refer to:

Quarterdeck's predecessor to DESQview, a task switching product called DESQ, which allowed users to switch between running programs. It was not very popular, and the task-switching market was primarily dominated by Software Carousel, a product with limited windowing capabilities. Quarterdeck revamped its package, bringing multitasking in, and adding TopView compatibility; it was renamed DESQview.
