Derrick Dalley is a Canadian politician born in Twillingate, Newfoundland and Labrador. He moved to Springdale until the age of 14 at which point he moved back to Twillingate. He graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education in 1987. [1] In the 2007 provincial election, he defeated Liberal Party leader Gerry Reid in the riding of The Isles of Notre Dame. He is a member of the Progressive Conservative Party.
