The division is led by the Senior Executive Vice President of Sports, Jorge Hidalgo. The Vice President of Sports and of all operations for the department including the division's Olympic broadcasting efforts is Eli Velazquez. The Executive Producer is Roberto Pardo. Claudio Prizont is the Managing Editor in charge of assignments for all shows, and Christopher Suarez-Meyers is the Production Manager.
The department boasts the finest on-air talent in Spanish language broadcasting. Beginning with the most recognizable voice of soccer in the United States and Emmy award winning sports announcer, Andres Cantor, his colleague of many years and also an Emmy award recipient, Jessi Losada, and rounding out the talent pool, Rene Giraldo, Alejandro Blanco, Edgar Lopez, Leti Coo, Karim Mendiburu and Sammy Sadovnik.
The department produces several properties including Rumbo Al Mundial, Sabado De Futbol, Futbol Telemundo, Titulares Telemundo, Titulares Y Mas, Ritmo Deportivo, Boxeo Telemundo, and Los Triunfadores. It also produces several Specials, such as Balon De Oro, Coors Light presenta NFL Kickoff 2007, Tazon Latino II presentado por Coors Light, Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Fiesta.
