My name's Deon W, I'm in my mid teens, and I live in Melbourne's southeast, the best city in the world, in Australia, .. the best country in the world :)

I live with family in their house, with their cat, Ellie.

I edit Wikipedia from a P4 Pentium @ 3.0 GHz, running Windows Vista Ultimate, using an Ethernet router @ 512Kb/s, and occasionally my notebook, a Intel Dual-Core @ 1.46 GHz, running Windows Vista Ultimate, using an Wireless Ethernet router @ 512Kb/s, and even more occasionally, Wi-Fi

I have been editing Wikipedia since March of 2006, and my edit count and ESU can be seen at my /Userboxen page.

I have met a few Wikipedians IRL, like Michael Billington and "liquidman3", as well as most of the awesome team of Wikimedia Australia at one of the Melbourne meetups. You can also see the list of people I've 'weened' onto Wikipedia at /People.

I used to be very active on IRC (almost all day) but due to other committments now, I'm unfortunately rarely on now. When I am on, I'm on the freenode network, or more likely on my own IRC server, at home. My primary nick is Deon, although I use others. I use the cloak *!*@wikipedia/Deon555 on freenode and *!*@admin.staff.mbimageworks.net or *!*@developer.staff.mbimageworks.net, at home, depending on the mood I'm in
