[edit] Why

If an article:

Or doesn't meet:

I will tag it for deletion. You will be notified on your talk page. Please read the following before complaining about a nomination:

[edit] Please remember:

  • Firstly, and most importantly, this is not an attack on you or the subject of the article.
  • Remember: Being listed for deletion does not automatically mean something will be deleted. Anyone can nominate an article for deletion so mistakes are made.
  • If you think that your article should be kept, your best bet is to dispassionately explain why you believe the article should not be deleted. As there is a presumption that an article should be kept, you simply need to show that the article's subject does not fall outside of Wikipedia guidelines.

[edit] What not to do:

  • Make personal attacks against the other people involved
  • Try and recruit people from off Wikipedia to vote. Wikipedia commonly discounts votes (but not the arguments) of people who are not part of the community.
  • Threaten to vandalise Wikipedia if you don't get your way. Wikipedians are not going to be positively influenced by this.
