Christ, I was sure that the "Dennis/Peggy storyline axed" edit had to be a joke. But I googled, and no... Jim Moreau 17:30, 15 October 2005 (UTC)

There's no Wikipedia rule against spoilers, Trampikey. That's an edited version of a contribution made by another user in good faith; I'm reverting it. Feel free to add a "plot details follow" heading. Jim Moreau 15:31, 16 December 2005 (UTC)

What's your point?

[edit] Marital status

Am I the only one who thinks there's something not quite right about "Marital status: Deceased"? 15:29, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

It's a tricky one, but "till death.." is part of the traditional vows...Britmax 11:47, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Well he's not single, married, divorced, widowed or separated... Sweetie Petie 12:33, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Date of death

Changed the date of death to 31 December 2005, he was killed as the clock struck midnight on New Year's Eve so it should either be this or 1st January 2006. Only reason I can think of for it being the 30 December was that was when it was broadcast? hawkfist

Yeah you're right, though I don't remember the day it was broadcast. We should probably say he died on 1 January 2006 as it was when the clock struck midnight and he wouldn't have died for at least a few seconds ;) Is everyone in agreement? — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 11:06, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
It was put as 30 December because that's when the episode was broadcast. I think we should leave it as 31 December, because it is debatable, and putting it as 1 January 2006 could cause some confusion having his "Duration" saying "2003-2005". Also, another issue is; when was his last appearance? was it 30 December (when it was broadcast) or 31 December, which was the date of the action taking place? Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 15:33, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
Duration and last appearance are for real dates in the real world, so 30 December is correct. His death date should be the date he died in the fictional EastEnders universe. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 16:20, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:DennisDead.jpg

Image:DennisDead.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
