Vesey was not a slave, he was a free man. There are many accounts that say he was framed in a conspiracy. (comment left on article by 24.124.115.39 (talk · contribs) - User:Alphax/sig 09:22, Mar 16, 2005 (UTC))

Hey, just because he wasn't a slave doesn't mean he couldn't organize a revolt. So what, it just makes him all the more better(cheesepuffsaretasty!!! 18:19, 15 November 2007 (UTC))

[edit] Vesey St.

There is a street in NYC called Vesey Street, which runs along the northern border of the World Financial Complex. Could this street be named for Denmark Vesey? --ZekeMacNeil 01:51, 22 July 2005 (UTC)
