Perhaps worth mentioning is that anammox is related to denitrification in a way that they both produce N2, although metabolic pathways differ markedly and organisms aren't related. -- romunov 15:20, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

These edits are not suitable as you've completed them. This article is about the metabolic process of denitrification, not denitrification in a sewage sludge plant.
