Statue of Dennis Chavez from the National Statuary Hall Collection in the U.S. Capitol. The Architect of the Capitol maintains the collection and provided the photograph. All states are invited to contribute two statues for display in the Statuary Hall of the U.S. Capitol. This statue of Senator Chávez is one of the two gifted by New Mexico to the collection.
