Sir Dennis Weatherstone (born November 29, 1930) is the former CEO and Chairman of J. P. Morgan & Co.. He attended the Northwest Polytechnic. In 1946 he joined J. P. Morgan & Co. as a foreign exchange trader and rose through the ranks becoming the Chairman in 1980 and the CEO in 1990. He retired from J.P. Morgan in 1995 and was succeeded by Douglas Warner III "Sandy".
Sir Dennis served as an independent member of the Board of Banking Supervision of the Bank of England from 1995 through 2001. He has been a board member of Merck & Co., General Motors and the NYSE. Since 1994 he is a director of Air Liquide
