Denis Byrne is a former Kilkenny senior hurling captain. He is currently skills training the Dublin Senior Hurling team.[1] Denis won an All-Ireland Under 21 Hurling Championship with Kilkenny in 1994. He was on the Kilkenny all-Ireland winning side in 2000 and was awarded an All-Star during the same year. He won a minor all-Ireland medal with Kilkenny in 1991. Byrne won an NHL medal for Kilkenny in 1995.
