Demented Popcorn is a animation project started by Jack Brain, who resides in England. The project started in late october of 2006, and has already moved on to Series 2 in 3 months. Series 1 had 10 episodes in it, and Series 2 the same. The main character has never really been decided in the past, but now it has. Sort Of. The main character in the beginning was a parody of Pikachu, called Pookachu. When Episode 6 started, the main character was Chocolate Chip Muffin, along with secondary main characters Cowboy Jimmer and Smiley Jake. After Episode 10 Chocolate Chip Muffin was retired from the Animations. Cowboy Jimmer took the place of main character over him, but still with Smiley Jake. The films are posted on YouTube.com and then placed on the Demented Popcorn Films website: <a href="http://www.dementedpopcornfilms.piczo.com>dementedpopcornfilms.piczo.com.> the cartoons have been successful and non-successful in some manners.

There have been 2 holiday episodes, a Halloween Episode and a Christmas Episode. Jack Brain isn't a fan of making the holiday episodes because

"it has to be done on the date of the event. with the other videos, i can be late or early. nobody cares. but when it comes to holiday episodes, i'm crap at making them in time"

Apparantly, there is NO valentines day Episode, due to "Not Everybody Celebrates It" says Jack. But there will be a Easter Episode. In Series 3. According to a Forum Post sent on the <a href="http://dementedpopcorn.proboards49.com">DPF Forum</a> there is a Demented Popcorn Films Movie coming out in Late 2007/Early 2008.

Jack Brain voices the whole animation by himself, with the exception of "Episode 6 - Gits" where the voices of half the characters were voiced by Ben Yearsley, who is also a staff member of the new up coming animation project with Jack Brain, "Mustard Liver Animations" which include Luke Dixon.

Not very many people have heard of DPF as it isn't a big deal. many people find it lame and confusing, while other people find it funny and easy to understand. Demented Popcorn Films is apparantly made in a Factory. yes...that's believable. There are many other facts that have been thought to be true, for example:

~the character austin is based on a real person. ~the only character not drawn by Jack is Mysterious X, who was killed off in Episode 10 ~demented popcorn films was nearly named "Randomation" ~2 character ideas for Series 2 where thought by friends of Jack's. the 2 characters were Super Star Dude and Cactus Bob. ~there has been an extra episode called "Weirdo! With A Gun, Part 2", the sequel to "Weirdo! With A Gun" but many believe that it hasn't even been made, as there are no sources of evidence anywhere.
