[edit] needed addition to article

this article needs a complete list of the indian tribes of belize. Gringo300 21:46, 12 November 2005 (UTC)

Tribes? I assume you are talking about the Maya, but they are three groups linked by their culture, not "tribes". See Maya civilization for that.--206.27.244.160 18:42, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Questionable information about Muslims

Where is this information about Muslims coming from? The CIA World Factbook makes no mention of Muslims, and Muslims don't speak Plautdietsch as this article claims, Mennonites do. As there is a population of Mennonites in Belize, it seems likely that this information actually refers to them (although the information the CIA World Factbook website currently puts their numbers at 4.1% of the population). Karen Joslin 15:16, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

I haven't been able to find statistics as to the number of Muslims, but there is a Muslim population in Belize. Here is a link to IslamicFinder.org's page with contact information for the Islamic Mission of Belize: http://www.islamicfinder.org/getitWorld.php?id=53291&lang= However, you're right about Plautdietsch and Mennonites. I will update the article to correct that inaccuracy. Fortuna13 16:58, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Corrections

Over on the Belize article someone pointed out that the numbers for Roman Catholics here is wrong. I have corrected that.--206.27.244.160 18:48, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

The comment about Buddhists? What's that about?
