[edit] "Mehbooba Mehbooba" and "Say you love me"

I removed the line <"Mehbooba Mehbooba" from film "sholay" was lifted from his song "Say you love me"> "Lifted" is a pretty strong word: Rap artists call it "sampling", in this case it's not even that. I listened to "Say you love me", and IMHO the similarity is vague at best: just the voice, and the way Roussos sings "ooooh". The other similarities are nothing more than both songs being written in the Qawwali tradition. The melodies are markedly different. And the beginning notes of Mehbooba, is completely original. The version I'm refering to is from Roussos' 1974 album "My Only Fascination". If there are any other versions bearing more similarity to "Mehbooba", please talk about it here.
