Why is an image of an ancient English lord displayed in the U.S. Capitol? There must be some story there? Rmhermen 00:05, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Indeed there is - he called the first modern elected parliament. See Simon de Montfort, 6th Earl of Leicester. Oh and 13th century isnt exactly 'ancient', most historians only consider dates previous to 500 AD as 'ancient'. Modest Genius talk 21:54, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
