Demos from the Basement is an independently released album by The Used (then known as Used). The album doesn't have an official name but this is what it is known as by fans. This album was recorded in ex-drummer Branden Steineckert's bedroom. It was released in June of 2001 which is only 6 months after The Used became an official band. There were only 200 copies made and the CD was handed out for promotional purposes by The Used at local shows before the band became commercially successful. As a result, the CD is extraordinarily rare and near impossible to get a copy of today.[1]
