The capital and largest city is Willemstad.
Of the five major islands of the Netherlands Antilles, Curaçao has the largest population (135,822 on 1 January 2005), followed by Sint Maarten (35,035), Bonaire (10,638), Sint Eustatius (2,584), and finally Saba (1,434).
