Hi, my name is Dell. I'm working on articles on Wikipedia, a free online encyclopedia, and I was very interested in the possibility of using some of the photos from this site. However, to use them, the images would have to allow commercial use (while Wikipedia is nonprofit, there are for-profit mirror sites that use our material). Would it be possible to change the license of one or a few pictures to allow commercial use? They could retain their cc-by-sa license. You could do this for lower-resolution images, for example 150 or 200 pixels, so you could maintain the more restrictive license for the higher resolution versions.

If this is at all possible, here's a list of the images on my wish list: For the article pulmonary contusion, any pulmonary contusion picture, e.g.

But really any images you wanted to donate would be very useful and appreciated!

Hi, my name is Dell. Thanks so much for putting this information out, it's a great service. I'm working on an article on subcutaneous emphysema for Wikipedia, a free online encyclopedia, and I was wondering if you'd let me use the image http://www.gruntdoc.com/pics/sqemphysema1.jpg (the article is currently at http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Delldot/subQ but will be moved to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subcutaneous_emphysema once it is far, far less crappy than it currently is).

To use the image, it would have to be licensed under a free license that allows anyone to use and modify it (you could require that you be cited, though). You could do this for a lower-resolution version, for example 150 or 200 pixels, so you could maintain the exclusive rights for the higher resolution version.
