  • 1918 - US Food Administrator Herbert Hoover's recent "Keep a Hog" appeal to alleviate food shortages during World War I caused problems in places like Milford. If a pigsty was kept within town limits, it could not be a nuisance.
  • 1959 - Work began between Adams and Jackson Streets on I-95 through Wilmington.
