Delta Charter High School (DCHS) is located on the outskirts of Tracy, California. DCHS has a student population of about 300[1]. It is a Charter School that focuses on having a well balanced mix of both Independent Study and classroom instruction[2], and has been accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges[3]. It also tailors "Personal Learning Plans," or "PLPs," for each individual student[4] to maximize their learning experience. DCHS has a newly active Speech and Debate team, competing in the National Forensic League. It is coached by Reed Niemi, a former coach at The Athenian School.
