Delaware Sängerbund

The Delaware Sängerbund (German for Singers Alliance) is a German-American club located near Newark, Delaware.
It started as a singing society in March 1853. The Sängerbund became an important social club for German immigrants. The Delaware Sängerbund celebrates, and encourage the study and use of, the German language and German culture.
The club is best known for the version of Oktoberfest, a festival held annually in Munich, it holds for three days in September. It is popular in the area, and even people from outside of Delaware come.
