There should probably be a third subcategory for deities which are hermaphroditic or of indeterminate gender. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LGBT_figures_in_mythology which includes Hermaphroditus, Pales, Shai, and Virtus. I'm sure there are other examples from other cultures.
