Dehua ("德化") is located at central Fujian, one of the provinces on the southeast coast of China.

Dehua is rich in kaolin and famous with ceramic products, especially in crafts and dinnerware, including candle holders, Piggy banks, photo frames, jewel boxes, flower baskets, jars, vases, plaques, wall plaques, garden decorations, figurines, statues; animals, birds, pets and many other items.

Dehua covers an area of 2,232 km² with a local population of 0.3 million.

In 2006, Dehua's GDP amounted to 6.036 billion Yuan.
