This article is becoming a copy of Daedalus class battlecruiser. I think we should either delete this article, or move the other article here, depending on which title is correct. What episode is the name used in? --Tango 20:08, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

It was first used in the episode "Off the Grid". The plaque behind Col. Emerson said USS Odyssey Deep Space Carrier registry PB3865. You have a point about how it looks like Daedalus class battlecruiser. I'm not trying to copy the article but merely let people know what the Deep Space Carrier is, since nobody will let me edit the name or add to Daedalus class battlecruiser. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tegalans (talk • contribs)

Who is stopping you adding to the other article? Anyone can edit any article. Just be bold and add something to the other article about the alternative name, and then we can make this article a redirect to it. I did stuff about the name but indirectly and someone(?) just edit's it out. Which is fine just as long as there's an article with Deep space carrier in it. So I created my own.Tegalans 21:00, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

They may have removed it accidentally while they were making some other big edit. I see you've made quite a few edits to that page, can you give me a link to the one that was about the name? Absolutely - I'm just trying to make sure the user that made the article is ok with it. It sounds like he's had some trouble with the other article, which may need dealing with first. --Tango 14:56, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

With deep consideration (and regret) I agree with Tango that this article should be deleted. While I did not try to clone Daedalus Class Battlecruiser I simply felt that a new article stating the Daedalus class ship as a Deep Space Carrier (which I believe,with overwhelming proof is the correct desgination for it's class,but is not proven)was more appropriate. I did not want to step on anyone's toes by pushing what I believe is correct. For this I am sorry and please forgive my ignorance.Tegalans 16:28, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
