Talk:Decoupage

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but I think this article has been tampered with by some rogue.

Kurt Cobain and decoupage ? Surely not. Viz is very funny on occasion, but it's also very far from being a learned journal, or in fact even slightly serious: http://www.viz.co.uk/

  • Indeed. I have removed the below paragraph on Cobain from the main article for obvious reasons. Will leave it here in case there is ever some need to make an article on 'decoupage references in popular culture' ;-) Sassf 15:11, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

On a lighter note, Viz, the satirical current affairs publication in the UK, recently uncovered that Kurt Cobain was a "much revered" Decoupagist, a skill he devoted much of a his private life to and, it has been suggested, could have led to the star's break down and eventual demise. Legend has it that small fragments of pink crape paper were found stuck to his thumbs shortly after his untimely incident with the gun.
