The last sentence—"DECLARATORY ACT was made in 1776"—should this be here?

When I came to this article I was looking for more information on the declaratory act, but instead I find more info on the stamp act. This article needs to be more specific and explain exactly what the declaratory act involved.

The reason I put so information about the repeal of the Stamp Act is because the repeal is historically intertwined with the Declaratory Act.Sjmcfarland 00:16, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
