- Topic: Should the article on debt settlement be a redirect to debt.
- My opinion: The topic of debt settlement deserves its own article in wikipedia since its very different from debt consolidation. The current article on Debt does not explain what debt settlement is.
- Credibility of my opinion: I have been a moderator at http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/forums/ for the last 18 months and intimately involved with issues of personal finance.

- Debt settlement is definately different than debt consolidation, consumer credit counseling or bankruptcy.

The debt settlement article definitely deserves a page of its own and should not be confused with consolidation www.rapiddebtx.com
